Transportation
Cars are a very good means of transportation in Richmond. It is very convenient to park. On the other hand, travelling by transit can be difficult in Richmond due to the service's low frequency. Thankfully, there are a multitude of rapid transit stations on the Canada Line Skytrain. There are about 20 bus lines traversing the city, and the closest bus stop is usually just around the corner. It is occasionally challenging for pedestrians to navigate Richmond since few daily errands can be run on foot. Richmond is also not particularly conducive to biking because this city has a fairly poor bicycling infrastructure, and the terrain is not especially flat.
Services
It is a reasonably short walk to reach primary schools and daycares from most houses for sale in Richmond. In contrast, high schools are not especially abundant and consequently tend to require a long walk to get to. There are some of the province's highest-ranked schools, including Richmond Christian School, in this part of the Metro Vancouver metropolitan area. Concerning eating, the closest supermarket in this city is generally only a rather short walk away. There are also a limited number of opportunities for those who care about restaurants and cafes within walking distance.
Character
Richmond offers a calm environment and will appeal to home buyers who enjoy spending time outdoors. There are over 400 parks nearby for residents to check out, resulting in them being very easy to access from the majority of locations within the city. This city is also quiet, as there are usually low levels of noise from traffic - however some areas can be quite loud, especially closer to one of the railway lines, the airport (YVR), Highway 99 or Highway 91A.
